ABOUT
After a 20-year stint in ICT, Ali turned to serve in the UAE Government in 2019 as an advisor for science and technology. On the job, he is particularly passionate about the UAE’s scientific and technological advancement, new knowledge creation, and societal and human development.
Ali currently serves as an advisor on strategic and management affairs to the UAE’s Minister of State for Public Education and Advanced Technology. He previously led UAE’s science and technology policy development, as well as the operational affairs of several federal councils, including the Emirates Research and Development Council and the Emirates Genome Council.
