About
After a 20-year stint in ICT, I turned to serve the UAE Government in 2019 to work on national science and technology policy in the Prime Minister Office. Additionally, I ran the operational affairs of several federal councils, including the Emirates Research and Development Council and the Emirates Genome Council.
More recently, I also served as the acting assistant undersecretary for digital transformation and AI in the Ministry of Education. On the job, I’m particularly passionate about scientific discovery and technological advancement, new knowledge creation, and human development. Off duty, I enjoy spending time with my grown kids, reading on science and technology, enjoying video games, and painting miniatures while listening to audiobooks.
